Tampa Area Threads
The problem with most of this places is they are not in Tampa, tunning a car is time consuming so close to home is better. If not, who is the best in e-tunes?
so what about a performance shop? Any good ones, it feel strange we dont have any.
Btw how many post i need before i can sell some parts here?
I have a set of Lancer Evolution X Carpets new, used only once.
The recaro CF Pillards, one of the clips in one was not working the way i wanted to replaced all 4. So i have them too.
just wondering, thanks again for all the help.

yeah kinda sucks no good shops around..
but just to install simple stuff you should be able to do it yourself or some local guys can help..
i would not recommend E-tune since there is a good tuner in florida.

While those are both admirable feats, tuning a car with tons of money thrown at it and making big power does not gain you the reputation of a good tuner.
When I look for a tuner my criteria are experience with my particular chassis, a solid book of successful results in various setups, and communication.
There is no shop in the Tampa area with a "good" reputation for Evos. Period.

I thinking your taking what I said the wrong way and I'm not sure how I'm "full of false information." I never said these were bad shops or unqualified in any way. I said they don't have a good reputation in the Evo community.
No one aside from yourself mentioned either of the shops you're referring to. If they had a good reputation for tuning evos you'd see multiple people in this thread spouting off their name.
Making a car put down 1000hp is cool and all if you're into that but 90% of us are not after that. Most people want good reliable power. A lot of guys daily their cars and depend on it starting up and getting them to work and back everyday. Some people just want to maximize a certain setup etc.
We can all name tuners with good reputations for doing it all. AMS, English Racing, CBRD, UMS, RS Motors, TS Comp, etc, etc. Tampas tuners unfortunately don't fall into that crowd.
There's no need for the keyboard tough guy act either. This is a forum for discussion. If you're not mature enough to have a civil discussion you need to take some extra time to think before you post. No one said anything bad about your shops of choice. No need to lose your cool.

I also forgot to mention RyuEvoix , he comes to Tampa to tune all the time and he is bada$$, not to mention super affordable. He is on this board, so go ahead and talk about his rep so he can come in here and set you straight.
Just because their not some big million dollar fan club shop, or you don't know them which obviously it sounds like you know little to nothing, you should probably stick to asking questions than posting false information.
There are quite a few evos in the Tampa bay area, they go somewhere to get work done or tuned, just because you don't know about it doesn't mean it doesn't exist or isn't reputable. Not everyone can afford English Racing, STM, Buschur etc, for these people there are alternatives which do excellent work.
Oh man sorry man, I just looked at your profile, NEWBE, that explains a hell of a lot ha ha ha lol.
Ask around man, do some research before you come on here talking sideways.
