Just a quick admin note...
When you arrive at the University Mall, please make sure you are fully fueled up!!! There will be NO STOPS on the way to Altamonte (Orlando). Once you arrive in Orlando, you may want to fuel up before parking onsite unless you don't plan on going on the B4B Evo Rally. Bring cash because Eddie will be selling things related to his Cancer research fundraiser. Proceeds go to Libby's Legacy (see mission statement above).
Remember, this cruise will be LIVE via Waze... so if you can't make it on time, you can catch up using the LIVE link. If you don't use Waze, no problem. There is NO NEED to actually download Waze for this to work. You only need an internet-ready device and you can open the link on the web browser. Simple! Get ready... we have less than a week before the cruise!!! (Other than me... who else is overly excited...?! )

For some, the Tampa Cruise to B4B is actually their favorite part. I have been told that hanging out the window to take pictures (while someone else is driving, of course) of dozens of Evos in motion at the same time is EPIC! Well, yeah... of course it is EPIC... when else will you see SO MANY EVOS driving in the same direction within close proximity to one another? Not around THESE parts... maybe in Miami

Participating in this event is totally voluntary on your behalf and i4Evo assumes no responsibility for you, your vehicle, your passengers, or your behavior... and anything not DIRECTLY listed in this disclaimer.
Please obey all traffic laws to the extent in which you are willing to accept responsibility if challenged by Law Enforcement officials, speed detection devices, traffic monitoring / capturing devices, and the like.

We have never had an incident in the past years doing this convoy. However, last year a man parks next to a "NO PARKING" sign... gets a citation from the Florida Highway Patrol... and tries to get Eddie (the organizer for B4B) to pay for it since it was during his B4B Road Rally.

When will you be ready to meet up with us? The Toys for Tots meet at USF is usually our last meet of the year... but I am always down to meeting you with a couple of buddies any time.

What's the Evo crowd around tampa like?
I can tell you that there are about 100 Evos scattered around Tampa Bay. Some like to cruise. Others like car shows and/or meets. A few like racing on the track while others like "other" forms of racing that I am not sure I should mention here.
As the founder and administrator of Interstate-4 Evolutions (i4Evo), I don't schedule events that cause violations to local and federal laws of operating motor vehicles. However, I don't judge anyone for what they do away from i4Evo.
The biggest event is November 21, 2015. Annually, we take part in a statewide Breast Cancer Fundraiser where hundreds of Evos come from all around.
We are going to be filming a new video next year. We filmed something a few years ago just to test our editing skills. We never came back to it.
2015 will be bigger and better than all previous years. Our annual BBQ is in February. It is not a huge event. It is on Honeymoon Island. It is intended for the i4Evo die-hards that actually WANT to drive out that far, pay to get in the National Park, and actually enjoy a meal with buddies. It is a bring what you want to cook event.
We are NOT a car club. Therefore, there are NO dues and NO expectations. We are more of a living, breathing version of Evolution-M.net. Our Mission Statement:
"Interstate-4 Evolutions is designed to be a community of people with one majorly similar interest: EVOs! This is NOT like any other car club. There are no dues or mandatory fees. This is just a way to share interests, services, and stories. We meet twice a month to discuss past and future events, share garage notes, and simply have a good time."

To be honest, there are not a lot of fan-fare for Evos in Tampa, as a whole. When I was in Germany, there were far FEWER of us that drove hours across Germany just to meet up at the drop of a hat.
Here, the Evo fan-fare isn't like Audi and Subaru.
Don't get me wrong, though. Out of the numbers we DO have, there is plenty of interest individually. My goal is to rally together all the diehards with the hope that they fire-up the newbies and disinterested.
Either way, my primary mission has already been accomplished. There are many people on i4Evo that would have had to meet each other the hard way without this site.
I am excited to announce that we have made it over 200+ likes on the i4Evo FB page! WhooHoo!!! Thanks, everyone, for your participation over the past four years. It has been my honor HOSTING this site and scheduling meets, shows, and cruises.
Tonight is the last "formal" event of the year, hosted by USF Car Events. I am going to be there. I would normally go in Lara. Alas, tonight will be different. Since I am selling my Red Evo, I will bring that out tonight. Who knows... maybe I will get lucky and sell it!!!
The asking price is $13.5k. I need to pay off the loan on the car and buy a cheap replacement. If you know anyone who wants to buy this Evo, tell them where they will be able to view it...

Jupiter, wow! That is a bit FAR... if you ever find yourself in the Tampa Bay Area, look me up. I will try to hustle up a few Evos and we can make a mini-meet, of sorts. A few of us are cruising together to the Hot Import Nights Car Show in Orlando on December 27th. Maybe we will see you there?
