The break in is going well... it is in for the last set of upgrades now... so, I hope to get it back in two weeks.

 

Popping in to introduce myself, soon to be one more evo in Tampa area, I live I. St. Pete just purchased a salvage title 2008 evo x Gsr from NY. was a flood, not a sitter just sucked some water into the engine and bent a rod, it's at the machine shop now so hopefully she will be on the road very soon

 

Anybody willing to do some motor work who knows what they are doing on my evo? I want to replace my rings, head gasket and add some springs and retainers. Rather avoid crazy shop prices. Anyone? I'll pay you!

 

curious to see if anyone has had a motor built by rays performance machine shop off lois and hillsboro? they cleaned up my head and they are good dudes

Just moved to Tampa. Have an 09. Is there a big group of evo guys in Tampa? I haven't seen a single one yet.

 

We're all just kind of spread out around the Bay Area. Come to the pre-cruise meet on Saturday if you can!

Great to hear! I knew they were big in the honda world, but I think I'm going to take a stab at them. They rebuilt my head a while ago and they did great work for a great price. I feel like I can trust them worth my short block

Anyhow, I just wanted to share my excitement in tomorrow's event. The plan is still the same... meet in Tampa, rolling meet on I-4 with Lakeland, then stage up at the Altamonte Location of Procco's!

Same as every year... so, get her clean, bring her out, and let the good times roll! Oh yeah... if you have a GoPro... please, by all means... capture EVERYTHING and share with everyone!

 

I was just like this when I first moved to Tampa. That is what inspired me to get i4Evo put together. I figured that if there is no normal meets for Evo owners, maybe someone should start one... why not me? LoL

i4Evo is not a club, by the way. It is just a community of Evos. Several guys who meet with us are in actual clubs also. I just started i4Evo to unite us so that we are not just floating in the breeze.

Three years later, we are still around and people have actually started expected us at meets and other events. Not bad for a community that is not a club! LoL

There are many Evos in the Tampa Bay Area. I am on the road everyday for work. I see them all the time. The highest concentration I have seen is in the South Tampa area near MacDill AFB.

Have an FP black that I'm looking to trade for a evo 9 turbo, I have a 9 so just a complete straight swap manifold and all, plus $1000.00. Turbo has just over 1500miles on it, come take a look! PM me for details.

 

This also comes with a MAPerformance 02 housing dump, I just want to literally unbolt the manifold and swap everything over to a stock 9 setup (stock 9 turbo,oil coolant lines,o2 housing etc) this is a damn good deal! Anybody?
