I had John of Jestr Tunning tune my Evo VIII, he is/was a military simultor developer at one time and is well versed in the Evo X as well, but he's usually around the Orlando area. There's also Tampa Bay Tuned here (in Tampa of course) if you're looking for someone local, good luck

Alpha, you gotta show me what that EF4 can do when you get here (Unless your signature is outdated). I'm on the fence between the EF3 and EF4. I read the EF4 spools a little slower but hits hard on the top like an FP Black. I need something good for Road Racing and maybe some AutoX.

Why don't you trust MAP? Details please. Their turbos seem to be getting really good reviews.

My only concern with the FP BB turbos is that you now have to send them your stock turbo to be upgraded (if im not mistaken). Their website states "UPGRADE ONLY" now. The end result is downtime and you don't have your stock turbo to fall back on in case anything happens to your new FP. I'd like to keep my stock turbo as a back-up and buy a brand new turbo outright. I'm hesitant to buy anyone's used FP turbo or any used turbo at all for that matter.

Yea I still have my EF4. If you do AutoX I would do a EF2 or even a EF2.5.

The FP turbos are out of my price range. I got my EF4 ported and coated for $1800 shipped!

Can't beat that for a turbo rated for 625whp. And I sold my stock turbo and made a few hundred bucks!

Well, AutoX would be my 2nd choice. Road Race is my ultimate build goal, so I'm thinking the 2 and 2.5 might not be enough.

Not 100% sure atm. We want to live in base housing but might have to find something off base till we come up on the waiting list

i have heard horror stories about their motors, i had a friend who bought one and it had monumental problems. also i have seen some peoples port work from them and its crap. the problem is since they are a vendor here, most of those threads about them get deleted really quick. figures. **** the customers and keep the vendors as long as they pay the bill on evom they can shaft whoever they want and no one can say anything about it

I have always loved MAP, I got the EF2. I order all my parts through MAP they will beat anyone's price and they ship quick. Also the best customer service I have had as far as vendors go. They will work on price with you, if anythings wrong they fix it instantly.

Alpha depending on your rank on base housing is really nice but there is a waiting list. There is some places off base that are real nice and BAH will cover it you just need to be weary of where it's at. I live a couple miles off base in a townhouse, 2 bd 2 1/2 bath with 1 car garage, 1150$ a month, with trash and water incl. the townhouse community is real small (maybe 10-15 units) there is a pool and most of the people are in the 30's-40's. I believe I'm the youngest in the community at 23. Everyone is real friendly though.

I believe there is some open units in my community I would have to ask my wife to check since I'm deployed at the moment. If you would like to look into it let me know. Look off base for housing and if something interests you just send me a PM and I can let u know if its a decent neighborhood or not. I was born and raised here in Tampa and got stationed here lol.
