Lol its all good man. I dont mind answering the questions. We have quite a few tuners in the local area. I personally go to Bold Performance for all my needs but everyone has their personal preferences. You can text me if you have anymore questions bro. Ill pm you my #.
Look! Up in the sky! Its a bird... Its a plane... its.... its...
...its ME!!! Ha ha ha... LAME! Sorry, in a good mood to see both Evos in the driveway!
Welcome to the Tampa Bay area... I know that you won't be here for some time, but there is always something to do. What do you like? Legal drag, legal autocross, legal rally, legal circuit, car shows, car meets... and of course the underground illegal stuff that I don't promote in the least bit.
Our Evo community's long name is Interstate-4 Evolutions. This community has been involved since October 2010. We differ from what most would consider "car clubs" because we have no dues, no mandatory meets, and no responsibilities. We just share common interests and pull together for each other. We have swapped parts, services, and experiences with each other.

You may have read me post a lot about BOLD Performance. I know the owners of different shops... Vanquish, S&R, Tampa Bay Tuned... all great shops that have their own strengths. However, I place both of my Evos into services, repairs, and upgrades into BOLD Performance. I don't have to make a commercial because you have probably already read all the posts about them.
When you arrive, we can help you choose the right shop for you.
Hit us up anytime. (916) 2FL-EVOS... (916) 235-3867

Well I'm in south Tampa couple miles from base. I'm not in the country at the moment and won't be back for a month. I did a search of thorton gas stations and it only shows one in Clearwater.
Idk why that would only show 1 but i can assure you there are at least 2 in Tampa and at least 1 in Brandon (the one I have been to by my house).
It just has to be accessible enough to where I'm not driving 15-20 mins out of my way just to fill up. That will get old real quick.
Are the ones in Tampa near the base or like north Tampa? I tried looking on alternate fuel sites too and most are just not THAT up to date I guess. Ill be home in a month or so and hopefully should be able to scope out the area more.

Why not just get an E tune instead of going to a tuner that may or may not be great. There is plenty of reputable E tuners that will get you an amazing tune for a fraction of the price. Granted you have a tactrix/AP.
My car is currently getting tuned at Bold. Ive had my car dynoed at TBT before so I want to use the same dyno for comparison after it gets out of the shop. I was just wondering if anyone had anything positive or negative to say about TBT.
The tuner at TBT is spoken highly of by several shops and drivers. I believe his name is Drew. He runs the gamut from all models of Evolutions... he has tuned them all. He travels in and out of the country to tune Evos. He truly loves what he does.
I have never had my Evo tuned by him. He offered to tune it at a price I wasn't willing to pay when I was unemployed... and Mark has tuned my Evo for a fraction of the price since then. I am not racing anyone for money or trophies, so I am not concerned with paying high costs for super tunes that I am not going to use.
To each his own. All of this was said just to affirm that I have heard a great deal about him in a positive sense.
