So i have a bit of an over boost problem. What im wondering is could a bad throttle body shaft seal be the cause? I talked to a buddy of mine and that was one of the conclusions he came too. Its also got an irregular idle.

 

the throttle body shaft seals would cause the car to not hold boost.

what do you mean irregular idle? do you have aftermarket camshafts installed? that could be the culprit of the idle problem

also, what do you mean over boost? like is the car hitting fuel cut or is the car hitting several psi higher than set to? if so then turn the boost down with your manual boost controller if youre using one

what mods are on the car?

 

irregular like it wont go out of warm up phase, sometimes it does but when the rpms settle off to normal, it fluctuates weird. yeah i have cams but its never really acted like this. its like the car hits a wall when im getting full boost. what would cause a fuel cut like that?
