Need a good tuner in TN,AL,Ga
Are these EVO shops able to tune 04-06 gen Ralliarts as well? I have a piggyback. As far as I know, I'm the only modded 04-06 Ralliart in the Clarksville/Fort Campbell area :\

I posted a brief synopsis of the crap I've been through with this car in the modification regret thread in the general forum. it doesn't include how I got to the point of blowing my motor in the first place.
Thats a whole other story altogether.
Suffice it to say I've been broken by this whole ordeal. Maybe after i get the car back and I can drive it for longer then a few weeks without there being any problems I'll feel different but for right now I'm seriously so indifferent about my car I could easily sell it right now.
I'm holding off doing anything drastic until I get it back from Spec-Ops. This is my last stand. After this I'll just buy a fast car and do bolt ons to it myself and not mess with shops ever again.
Sorry guys I don't mean to be debbie downer but aside from all the money spent to fix "mistakes" other shops made I think what hurts the most is dealing with people who told me they were my friends and I was gullible enough to believe they had my back like they said they did.
Lesson learned. I'm not a dummy. I get it now. Its all business. its all good until something bad happens and you are on your own. I've been burned enough to know I just dont have the will to keep doing this and keep believing in empty promises.
I'm taking a page out of Kevin's book and when I get my car back I'm not repping ANY shops. No free advertisement off my money. They only shop decals I will have on the car will be of shops that haven't screwed me over (I need to get in touch with Scott to get a small TTP sticker).
Spec-Ops has been good to me so far. They seem genuine and all, but I've been down this route before. Its kinda like getting screwed over in a relationship/friendship. Takes a while to trust again.
Thats def. the point I'm at. I'm grateful for friendships that were made that started out as cars but grew into something more (amf, redridingboost, psych, strscrm and a few others whose screen names I can't remember), but I can safely say that my enthusiasm for this hobby has been beaten into submission and I've lost my passion.
Hopefully Spec-Ops can get me going and I can find it again. Its alot of pressure to put on them and its not really fair, but I can't help the way I feel.
I still logon here like crack so regardless of what happens I'll be around.

Yup he has def. been a bright spot through out all of this. Spec-Ops. I hear nothing but good about them. It'll take time but considering how I feel about shops in general I trust them as much as I can right now.
I know it isn't their fault. I've spoken to Matt a few times and he seems to genuinely care about my situation.
Taking a wait and see approach to this. I think its been about 1.2-2 months. Shep said my trans was 3rd in line at the beginning of the week so they were optimistically hoping it would be done this week.
Not holding my breath and even though I'm anxious to get my car bac kI'm not putting any pressure on anyone. I want it done right.

For what it's worth no ATL local Evo owner takes their car to Forged, unless they just moved here or they don't really put their car through much stress. Case in point a particular blue time attack Evo owned by an employee doesn't even get tuned in house. Just food for thought.
I've had tunes from both Shariff@Forged and Doug@Topspeed. I prefer TopSpeed... 80,000 hard miles at 20+ lbs of boost, countless autox's and track events and the car is still going strong!
Just my observations and opinions. Forged is a good group of guys and has a large base of happy customers.

Topspeed is never getting my business. A lot of stuff happened to a personal friend of mine that is unbelievable to describe. Its his business so I'll let him choose when he wants to spill the beans.
You've been lucky. I'll leave it at that.

If it makes any difference I wasn't going for peak power. I'm on a very safe tune, which was upon my request. I can't vouch for anything else except Doug's tuning ability.
Cheers, craig
