What are the current reputable shops to tune and work on the evos (like upgrading clutch) here in central florida. Where's everyone going?

Depending on the car...Kings or PRS I would reccomend. Kings IMO...great with EVO 8 & 9...PRS more experince with EVO X but just as good with 8 & 9...both shops great....I personally I'm going to PRS for my tuning and maintance needs other than oil change which I do myself.

 

Real Street or Titan Motorsports

PRS is also a good choice, as stated above. I would think twice before taking my car to Kings.

 

I have an 09 ralliart which shop is good to take due to the sst transmission?

I took my car to Titan and had all the work below done on my car. To include having John come out and tune it there.

Marty at Titan was top notch for customer support. He has stood behind his work immensely.

 

RealStreet doesn't work on Evos.

 

That's interesting considering that they sell parts for the Evolution X.

 

I cannot recommend Jestr enough. If you really want to get the most out of your car, Jestr can make it happen.

 

They sell parts only for imports and work on domestics mainly.

Jestr is a free-agent tuner. Titan Motorsports is the shop that he most commonly works for. They do the wrench work, and Jestr will tune the car. However, Jestr can also tune other places, if you prefer.

The last work that I had done on my car was done at Express Auto Clinic on East Colonial Drive (corner of Old Cheney and 50). They installed a DP and made me an axle-back exhaust to work with my custom mid-pipe. Other than that, I have no experience with them. However, the Master Technician (Todd) is a really knowledgeable guy, Their labor rate is fair and reasonable, and I have been happy with the work. That being said, I have not tried out their work on transmissions, yet. I will be the first one to try them before I recommend them.

I never had a problem with anything that they did. Again, I have no experience with them and transmission work.
