I like my loud exhaust. You know where the car is in the rpm's and don't have to look at the tach.

May be selling a car today. Getting a little closer to paying off the home equity loan.

 

Id like to get an exhaust, because my car sounds like a quiet vacuum cleaner. However I have to finish hunting down the source of my rough idle before I do anything else, (I am suspecting a small vacuum/boost leak somewhere).

Great news. I got $10K closer to moving down there yesterday!!! Home equity loan is down to $51K now. Not too shabby, started at $73K about a month ago. I am getting really excited!!!

 

Sounds pretty boring down there???

^ dang man, do you expect something exciting to be happening everyday here in this thread? I'm lucky to see anybody post in the NM evo section once a month, this area is alot more alive than the Southwest. I'll be in the area come Apr/May, I can't wait to get outta this region.

 

guys my bad I have been caught up... I actually need a shop to do my timing belt and all the fluids change... where I live they don't aloud me to touch the car...any place you guys recommend?

 

I would do it if I was down there. I really hope that house is still there when I get my home equity loan paid off!!! $46K to go.

 

I moved to Myrtle Beach 3 years ago because I couldn't afford to buy a house in LA where I was living. I hate it here. The worse mistake I ever made...

What do you do for work in MB?


I still have a lot of friends in MB & always enjoy visiting. I lived in MB for 6 yrs, it was great while in college & for a couple yrs after but I don't think I would still want to be living down there. Job market is no bueno in MB, if I moved back down there I would want to open my own business, not work for someone else. If you live & work in MB, more than likely you work in the service industry or a retail job. Houses are pretty stupid cheap in the Horry County area right now.
