When is that?

 

I doubt I'll be there, even though it would be cool to get some baselines prior to modding or tuning.

 

I'm interested in seeing your results MR! I don't think it will sway it much either way, but these cars can be finicky.

I plan to go to the dyno day but I'm STILL tuning (love to hear from you other guys on tscomp) and hoping to have it ready by then. Love to get a comparison of real dyno v. virtual dyno It's the 25th - 26th https://www.facebook.com/events/140803419438117/

 

There is also an autocross up that way the same weekend. If we have the meet the 24th I might head up on friday and make a weekend of it.

 

I've never been tuned before, so I'm not very experienced, but in reading reviews if other people's experiences I'm shocked that your tune isn't complete. Most seem to take a week, and there is one of the better tuners that claims that he can be done in 1 day if you have 4-6 hours to devote.

 

Update on my exhaust situation. Got it put on. I really like the sound. Drive-ability seems to be better with smoother on/off throttle inputs. Seems to be no effect of boost, it might spike slightly higher but it smooths out just like it always did before. I logged some A/F today using a Innovative LM-1. I recorded WOT in second to 7 grand and then third to 7 grand. A/f ranged from 11.3 to 11.7. So I'm happy.

^Yes, we plan on going up on the Saturday in the morning. So far the plan is to meet at 9-10am at the dam.

I'm 25min away from the dragon. Still one of my favorite roads. I do my best to avoid it on weekends, but would like to see some more evos from out of town. Might make it if I'm off work.

 

The only reason I was gonna tune it is if it was unsafe to run with the exhaust but it seems to better with it so I'm gonna do some maintenance now. My rear upper ball joint/arm needs to be replaced.

I would like to make that Dragon run.
