I'll be down until the end of this month, will be gone for a week, and then back but will be slammed with work/school ****. Going to Hilltop Muffler tomorrow to get my Downpipe modified and installed.

 

Why do you have to modify it?

 

The downpipe and catback both accommodated for the test pipe, so I took it in and the guys at Hilltop decided to cut the flanges off of both pipes and weld them together, so my downpipe is now technically longer.

But, I can still take apart the exhaust in three pieces if I need to. They welded up some new hangers and everything, the end result turned out great and the sound is amazing, however, I've noticed she's starting to miss every so often at WOT.

 

That must be a huge downpipe you have now!

For those of you who are having issues i wish everyone speedy Evo recoveries. Maybe we can have a meetup in early August, the first Friday?

I'm sad to report that my mods planned for November aren't going to happen for a while longer. I am extending my deck and building an awning over it ($$$$$). It's going to be a really nice place to chillax though.

 

I'm up for a August 2nd meet.

 

That might be doable for me as well. Trying to get a few kinks ironed out before then.

 

IC piping is on the way, hoping to have the o2 housing and piping installed before the meet.

 

Your car will run better with those items installed, yes.

 

Decided to go ahead and install the fuel pump, ECBS, and t00n before the meet too. The car will run better indeed.

 

Hopefully the Evo 8 will be at the shop getting built, so hopefully I can make the meet in the X =]

 

Looks like I'm working Aug 2nd. Doing an autocross at Pellissippi tomorrow. Come participate/watch if you're not doing anything else!

Noodle, have you decided on a tuner? I can't recommend tscomp right now. He's gotten too busy. I've asked him to schedule a time with me at least 3 times over the past 2 months and he never does. Basically send a log and wait a week. I'm out tuning right now with Christian from Pure Drive Performance. He just did in 2.5 hours what took tscomp 2 months.
