Anyone in Knoxville have an aftermarket O2 housing they want to sell? Was planning on just replacing th O2 sensor, but it may not come out without removing the O2 housing. Figured I may as well get rid of the stock one if it has to come out.

Thanks. Was hoping to just replace the sensor, but no luck getting the original out. I'll probably get a new O2 housing and go at it when it gets here.

Map's housing and their service was awesome. Just having never removed the stock housing before it was a chore. Looks like if you are changing out the turbo while you're at it would be no big deal. But getting to the 5 bolts holding it to the turbo manifold was pretty difficult.

Yeah Barber is awesome! I've probably got 2k miles there on bikes. A guy I AX with posted on Facebook a while back about a NASA discount going on so I signed up. Have always been hesitant about doing a day with the Evo since it's my only car. Figured what the heck, today was great! Only got 3 sessions today, scheduled for 5 tomorrow. I'll remember to post up here next time! Thinking about a CMP and VIR day this year also.

Man I'd love love love to hit barber. How'd the 5 sessions go? I have done the go cart track at VIR, it's awesome!! Hoping to get some track time this summer, we shall see.

Fastech is the only one I know of in Knoxville. Do you absolutely need to have someone local?

That Sunday went awesome! Felt very comfortable wth the car at higher speeds, which is what I was hoping to learn since I've only done AX. Wish I had my lap timer with me. Richard in his NSX was running about a 1:45. We're closely matched in AX, but he has a lot of track time. I'd like to think I was 1:50ish. Fastest I've ever done on a bike there is 1:41. Brakes got so hot the Brembo sticker burned off the front brakes and the color (anodizing?) burned off the lugnuts. I had to bleed the fronts that weekend. I'd definitely do some kind of cooling for the front brakes if I were to do more trackdays.

I have no experience with local tuners. If you end up wanting a remote tune at some point, I can highly recommend Pure Drive Performance.

no it doesn't have to be local but local would be nice. Its just I wanted to drive down to the tuner to get the car tuned, planning on changing the fuel injectors and don't really wanna drive it un-tuned or maybe I shouldn't drive it period. LOL
Just want a good experienced tuner that can help me with what I wanna do.

Damn! I'd think for sure you could take an NSX, I bet you were closer than that! Crazy about the brakes though. I have seen carbon ducts for the IXs just can't remember where I saw those.
