Formula Drift or Formula D has been created to provide the highest level of drifting competition in the U.S. This inaugural season will consist of 4 rounds cumulating the crowning of the first-ever U.S. Champion.

Created by Slipstream Global Marketing, the company that brought D1 Grand Prix USA event. Known for setting the precedent and progressive ideas, Slipstream with the partnership of SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) will create a competition rulebook, first of its kind in the World.

We invite you to come out and take part in watching motorsports history at its first event held at Road Atlanta. There is also a car show portion at this event which include all makes and models of vehicles including Best JDM, Best Mitsubishi, Best Car Crew etc... hey i went and had a blast. the driffting was awsome and there were tons of great cars there. plus got to see 2 MR Evo's that were there on display . i'll try to post some pics soon.

 

i've gotta crap load of pics too and a little 10 sec video i shot w/ my digital camera my domain expired and i forgot what my site's IP address is so i can upload my resized pics i'll also dub some to video after i get my video capture card

 

2 MR Evo's? I didn't see that. Where were they? I did see 1 yellow, 1 black with white wheels, 1 silver and 1 BBY Evo there. I had the BBY Evo in the middle of the parking lot.

Also notice a few STi's as well.

hey i'm not confused, i saw 2 evo's down on pit row. they were by the stage down there and they both had MR on the back of them. maybe they just put that on there but it was there. i will put the pics up when i get them. i was the yellow evo and i saw a white, black, 2 bby, and silver.

 

Those 2 Evo's where the HKS/APEXi show cars. The BBY one had a HKS GT-25 turbo with every possible thing you could do to it. The silver one was a little bit more mellow with a stock turbo and bolt ons. Both where sporting MR badges though.
