I wish gas was $1.95 a gallon! I just paid $2.23/gal the other day for 91 octane Arizona **** gas.

When your gas prices hit $2.50+ a gallon like it is California, then you can complain.

As far as I can see from down homestead to broward the prices are from $1.79 to $2.08, the might be higher in some parts, mierda.....some people even buying 82 octane and selling it at 87 or 93 octane....

Actually there is no excuse for complaining. We pay what we pay, period. And it may be more expensive to buy gas in California but I'll bet the Average Salary is also proportionally higher. Fact is, everybody is getting shafted... Except oil execs... they're getting bonus checks.

I remember when it was $.11/gal in Miami and they gave you silverware & place sets to get you to come in and buy it! Yeah, and not only that but they were full service gas stations too They pumped your gas, checked your oil, wiped the windshield and more........ Oh well, those days are gone for sure

I remember when I used to be able to fill a 1 gallon jug to mow the lawn, get a 12oz can of soda and still have change left over from my $1.

Hey, you are welcome What can I say.... I will admit however that the $.11/gal was seen only once during a particularly vicious gas war... Oh yeah, I don't guess anybody knows what a "gas war" was..... I'll give you a clue, it had nothing to do with Iraq, the middle east in general, any armies, weapons or casualties (except the price of gas )

I live in the middle of an oil field here in Texas, and have several refineries within 100 miles of here.

Regular -- 1.78 gallon
91 -- 1.98 gallon

If I'm not mistaken, isn't the highest grade of gas in UT ("premium") 89 octane? If so, $2.15 for 89 octane is poop.

Cost of living in Cali is way out of whack like NYC and its tri-state area.

When I was first drivng, Super was at max $1.25, and regular floated around $1.05 to $1.08.
