Not in the near future. Expect gas to get to $2.00 per gallon for a national average this summer.

when I first started driving regular gas was 93 cents a gallon. Now gas around town in San Diego is hovering around $2.15 for regular.

74 cents a gallon? 5 yrs ago? Is that a typo?

I starting driving in the early 90's. Price for regular ranged from $1.06 to $1.13 on memorial day or traveling season.

For those remember under 1 dollar, was that in the mide or late 80's? At that time, if I remember correctly, stamps costed around 22 cents or something.
