>>>JUNE 5th Florida Evo track day<<<
Well, it's here again. SaintJab wanted me to put together another test and tune day for us. So here ya go.
The official EVO track day is set for Saturday, June 5th from 10am-2pm at Bradenton Motorsports Park. Followed by a cruise to a restaurant for lunch and just to hang out and get to know more EVO owners. Last time we went to Hooter's, we can go to the same one or try something different. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
Bradenton Motorsports Park will be open from 10am-1pm for test & tune. Try to get there early as possible. I will try to reserve a spot near the fence and staging lanes for us to park.
Following the test and tune will be a cruise in from Bradenton Motorsports Park to a restaurant for a little dining and hanging out.
For those who haven't been to the track before:
-I recommend bringing a cooler with drinks. Drinks are
about $2 at the track and can become costly on a hot day.
-If you plan to use ice to cool down your car, you might want to
buy your own ice and bring it in a cooler. Bags of ice at the track
are $2.
-If you have a portable chair, bring it as there will only be stands/
bleachers to sit in.
-Sun glasses are highly recommended for the bright Florida
sun.
-It's $10 to race and $10 to spectate. Hope to see you racing and
not slackin'.
-Bradenton Motorsports Park is a 1/4 mile track. Here's a link to
their site. http://www.bradentonmotorsports.com.
Check out the "direction" link for info on how to get there.
-If you have a helmet, bring it. I will have mine on hand. They
usually don't hassle you about it unless your car is haulin' ****.
-Last but not least, they have race gas available and the pumps
will be open for you high boost guys that need it. I'm not sure of
the price, but I remember it being around $5 a gallon.
I hope to see a lot of you there. Remember to tell all the Evo/DSM guys you know. The more the merrier. Everyone counts!
Please post here if you are going to attend. Also be sure to include your first name and a contact email so a confirmation/reminder email can be sent to you.
If you know any Suby WRX or STi owners. Feel free to invite them as well. I think it will be fun to do a little EVO vs. STi challenge. Maybe we can get some of the O-town boys to come out this time?
Feel free to post some ideas or suggestions. All will be considered.
Last thing. Feel free to post a link to this post in other DSM & Subaru sites.
Hope to see you there.
Take care,
-Tony

Since there seems to be a lot of guys who are getting there cars tuned by Al at dynoflash, I was considering changing the track day date to a later time that way you can all test out your new tune.
Let me know if you want to do that.

Man, I wonder why so little turn out this time? I know there will be at least six or seven of us out there, but it would be great if we got some more! I'll PM some folks who are going to the Dynflash tuning and see if they wanna meet up before hand this weekend.
