On a completely unrelated matter, some comic relief.
A funny as hell Audi commercial spot. lol well I thought it was... but that said, we the TOlancer club will be doing our own youtube spot... but rest assured it will not have any kinda guns in it. But it will be a funny / catchy theme

Sucks huge. Fight that ticket, im sure you can get them dropped. Take your permit in with the other side and show you have both and it should be dropped.

Whats funny is that CT sell these plate covers, and you see alot of vechiles with these covers. Because you werent speeding the cop cant give you a ticket for that so he looks for other illegal mods.

Tell the judge you got them from CT and never knew they were illegal untill you got pulled over and you have seen alot of cars with these on, also take a picture with them off as proof you did. I think you will defently get it dropped.

Its a Bull**** charge just to **** you off.

yea greedy son! thats wat im gonna do and call him on discrimination too

gonna tell judge that 1) since canadian tire sells it, and they are a giant retailer all across canada so their goods are strictly governed by canadian law, and since the canadian law allows them to sell the plate covers its must be legal otherwise it wouldnt be permitted to be sold across canada
2)cop was following me for 5 mins if he had a trouble seeing my plate he would have pulled me over right away instead of 5 mins after tailing me

this is exactly the reason why you always see me advocating the non-use of tinted plate covers on these forums. I know cops like to be dicks and it gives them a good enough excuse to give you an additional ticket, so honestly, why risk it?

So many times I've heard "oh canadian tire sells it, so it must be legal!" <-- This is such faulty argumentation, lol. Just coz canadian tire sells it doesn't mean squat. Canadian tire sells a lot of goods; consider the amount of light bulbs they sell. I'm sure they have a wide selection of lighting (bulbs) for cars, amongst other accessories. Are all these parts in accordance with road laws? probably not. Im pretty sure they have colors for bulbs (ricer neons etc) that are not road legal. Anything you buy is used at your own discretion. Canadian tire sells chainsaws, does that give you the right to go on a Toronto Chainsaw Massacre? No.
