Seems to be a rise in car thefts / break ins lately. Make sure when posting pictures of mods etc you black out your plates and information. Forums sometimes can be shopping grounds for thiefs.

What about a Car alarm group buy? Insurance companys will sometimes low your monthy rates for aftermarket alarms.

 

Sorry to sound stupid but really, how do you go about actually stealing these cars? Hot wiring was like impossible now days?

holy! i hope i can find this guy who stole it and call the cops on him/her.... i love my gts and i can only imagine what a pain and stress this person is suffering from.

for our protection, i deleted the album on photobucket from the west side meets. i didnt forget to black out the plates... i was just to lazy to do all 90+ images. so i deleted em. next time i take pictures... ill make sure i only take pictures worthy images so i can edit em all.

This is a friend of mine from Hull... (also the 4th Lancer I've heard of being stolen so it can't be that hard... someone stole an X right off the lot in my city and dumped it in a field)

He doesn't have much custom but his door panels are custom suede red/orange on the inside so that's something to look for.

 

this sucks, hopefully that person gets their car back soon

 

i have heard 2 stories. bothwere not stolen bythe theif but repo man....that said nothing is impossible. anything can be stolen. best option is to use passive and active gps tracking.

but honestly... lancer isnt a target. ralliart yes... evo yes yes...

this is why i tell everyone to declare ur cars aftermarket stuff.

 

all lancer, ralliart and evo owner we should be careful cause it might increase the insurance rating for our cars. if that happened our insurance premium will increase because of high numbers of stolen lancer, ralliart and evo.

one thing if someone is worried about whos lurking round the forums , id delete your mod list as your signature , i know if i was jacking cars id look for the guys with the most mods
