I dont think its the battery. It could be a shotty ballast. Try switching ballasts and see if the other side works and such. I don't think battery should be a problem

 

you need both a relay and anti flickers to fix your hid issue.

second their are volt meters that can monitor your voltage. check to see how low your kips are.

Anti flickers will help since they are mini capacitors, so even in voltage drops they can still prevent the bulbs from going out. they should flickers if they are rigged to the battery via a relay. of course I am no electrical wiz. but thats based on what i know so far.
