xCASHx: im asian 22 years of age and not one single accident that i caused. this is the 2nd time i got rear ended at a RED LIGHT. never had a speeding ticket. and i drive a lot better than my non asian friends. now thats settled.

i wish i posted this thread right away. now i regret not filing the report at once. for the kid, i can admit it was an honest mistake and with the car he's driving its a little hard to stop with the traffic we were in. its not like that corolla had HPS pads and slotted/cross drilled rotors with a 6 piston caliper lol.

but it sucks how when you give people an inch, they take a mile. thanks for all the support guys and all the advise.

The bumper looks fine just minor damage. from a non lancer owner's eye, it looks like stock so turbo time you can have it if i can settle everything.

I got hit by a Corolla ...the 1994 model so i think that car weighs only 2400 pounds? and our cars weigh 3032.. so my bumper didn't take much much damage.. its my alignment, and the interals that im worried about. if you hit a pregnant woman, she might look fine and not feel anything but the baby suffered something huge.

 

ohh i think he broke my twin turbo that was located in my trunk though he he he :P

so its gonna cost 1432.32 for new bumper and alignment. and i dont know how much the rental cost should be. and the license.

Rental depending where you go will be like 35 - 60 a day plus tax, also depending on type of vehicle, Plus u sure it was only the bumper that was damaged? May wish to take it off and check the impact beam, if that's bent or if the welds came off, better believe that it will be much more.

If you don't get it inspected then the next impact, car gods forbid, could be potentially dangerous.

 

the 2 body shops just looked at it from the rear. is it possible that when i bring it in, they'll be like... hey i didn't see this. and jack it up even more?
