Help! Rims screwed up!

ok so heres the deal, i bought a set of evo x gsr rims.
i got them powdercoated black with red lips around 2 months ago
i had them stored in my basement the whole time
thinking that they were black and red as they looked that way in the dark
i was painting my calipers one weekend, so i decided to place the rims on my car
and i felt so hurt seeing the outcome, the black turned out looking dark dark greyish navy in the sunlight
so i went back to the powdercoating shop to have them fixed
and the boss told me that it turned out that way due to the clearcoat placed ontop of the paint
(which he recommended to protect my rims) not telling me that it will change the color
so now i need to get the paint stripped and redone, this time without clear coat
the boss offered me a price of $40 dollars per rim to get them powdercoated again
but i still need to find a shop to get the rims sandblasted though
does anyone know any good shops to get rims sandblasted and powdercoated for cheap?
i've spent too much on these rims and the paint already, is it worth redoing or should i sell it off?
please help me out here with options!

the quality of the powdercoat is actually really nice
but i just can't stand havin dark greyish navy rims on my black car

Dunno, never tried. Just saw it said ya ok and left. Been spending a lot of time in the body repair section. But or course its always better to have a guinea pig to try something unorthadox before you do.

Ok well if you try it one day or know of someone who has and it worked out well let me know. I wouldn't mind grabbing one for that price then.
