I hate reading stories like these caused by drunk drivers.

Good luck, glad you and your lady are okay.

I'm actually with ICBC, but like Hydro says some other companies out there in Ontario will reimburse for the mods.

If they are gonna fix the car I'd leave the exhaust and BOV on, but if they total it, remove them before u sign the car over to your insurance.

your RA is probably fixable seeing that the front end bumper hasn't been mangled, the most damage being on the passenger side. At least a few thousand in damage (garages always rip insurance companies off).
The aftermarket exhaust shouldn't give you any problems with the insurance company, there isn't any justification that it can void the warranty.
Hope everything turns out alright for ya.

glad you guys are ok...
with regards to insurance writing off your car or fixing it - I'm not sure with other insurance companies - but with mine, we usually write off vehicles whenever an airbag pops..

my old car was written off with a CAI and catback exhaust. Didn't turn out to be a problem. I'm with co-operators
