Teins = Noise?

Hey TLC. Quick question for all those with Tein S-Tech's or maybe just lowering springs in general. I've had my Teins on for just over a year now. I did not cut the bumpstops when I installed the springs. What I'm getting at is this... When turning the wheels at a stand still or a slow/low speed, the suspension is quite noisy. It almost sounds as if there is twisting rubber or something similar to a creaking noise. I've heard of other people on other forums having the same issue but Im just curious what you guys have gone through or maybe if you have the same noise or have any ideas as how to get rid of the noise or if its common or what not. Thanks in advance for any help/input.

in order to lube the rubber am i going to have to taje it all apart b/c i dont really want to cause than i will need another alignment. seems to be a common problem among tein woners i have talked to. if i remember correctly from last summer, if the weather is above 15 degrees for a while, i dont think it makes the noise. i could be completely wrong, but i feel like it happens more or gets worse when it's cold. keep me posted as to what you find out rob.

I've got RRM springs on my car and they do the same thing, especially during the cold weather. It's seems to be a problem with alot of lowered lancers.

it got worse last night when i drove home in the rain... instead of a clunk-clunk-clunk noise it was a constant creaking. so my guess is the springs are twisting in the perches. i'll investigate and see if i can find a solution to this, as it's uber annoying! lol

I have the S-techs on my car right now... I only find I have that problem in the winter... recently given the nicer, warmer weather... I don't hear the creaking anymore. I did at first when I relowered my car this spring but it went away after a week..

Also, one of my other buddies has the same springs and his went away as well.. he has had his on for over a year.
