Discounts On Accessories and Parts?

Does anybody have hook-ups with Mitsubishi to get discounts on parts and accessories?

Right now I'm looking at the leather/aluminum parking brake grip... but on the Mitsu Canada website it says it costs $458?!?!? Seriously?!?!?

Mitsu USA has it for $297... and I've seen it for $270 on the internet.

So I guess I'm asking about discounts in general... but if anybody can get this parking brake handle for cheap... please let me know.

That much for a handle?

Thats way too steep for an interior cosmetic mod like that imo.

Those parts must be gold plated, but all (quality) 08+Lancer parts are expensive so it comes with the territory.

Unfortunately the price will be high, because Ralliart is attempting to sell it as a premium quality product. Licensing thru the dealer network drives up the cost. the margins change a little when Canada gets their own logistics but not by much.

Ralliart logic. high end = high price.

Is the handle really worth that much money? Like even the US$270? Seems like a helluva lot of money for a parking brake overlay. And on top of that... the Canadian $458 is just straight up robbery.

Capitalism has supply and demand. The thing that governs any product is effective marketing.

lol case and point. Bell tells me, I have to pay 600 dollars for a phone without a contract, or if I sign a 3 year contract i can have it for free. If you stop right there, logic says that this phone is not worth 600 dollars. But if you want it bad enough you will agree to one of the two options presented by them. Or you can find a similar product for a price you are willing to pay.

In the market we live in, there are people who think its too expensive, some think its too cheap. every region and demographic looks at it differently.

I think the Ralliart Brand should have diversified and made some more affordable mods for the car, to get people hooked in. If you dont, the aftermarket will always serve an Mitsubishi owner better.
