I've heard many of the tint people trim the rubber so it stops scratching the tint, and it ends up doing better job than moleskin and is cheaper, anyone know if there is any downside/con to trimming the bottom rubber ?

 

^ oh man i rather add the moleskin. what if they trim it wrong? water leakage maybe?
also good thing about adding the moleskin is that you can still remove it if ever you need to.
