Anyone selling their old MT Sprintbooster?
If so, I'm in ASAP

 

Erin Mills has one unit, I am not sure if its a manual or an Auto, but its an old unit. I think they will sell it for $250 new.

the auto is compatible with the manual. just a slightly different feel.

 

I said it before and will say it again. I think hands down its likely the number 1 mod you can do for a CVT equipped lancer.

It drives like a completely different car.

Short Answer, its not likely to see the sprint booster sell for that low of a price. Unless maybe there is a massive group buy or something. 30 cars plus. There is one vendor that is likely going to hold a group buy on this forum and another. So stay posted.

Long Answer, I dont for see the price going down any lower. There are already supply issues, in that Sprint Booster cant keep up with the demand. While people think the product is expensive, and describe it as a bunch of twisted wires from radioshack. Its actually vary sophisticated. Case and point, if you put a Sprint Booster for sale on ebay even used, for 250 dollars it will likely sell right away. There is a huge demand for sprint booster right now, and I have to admit even JRP's supply of units keeps running down.

What is on fire right now. Jeep / Domestic application are going Ape **** right now because of the TV spot that aired on SPEED Channel where hosts of the show actually tested the product out and showed actual performance gains. Something that a lot of people out there say isnt possible.

in the coming weeks your going to see more media reviews of Sprint Booster and the reports of gains are going to be more and more. Where its showing up is actually in changes of the TQ curve and power is being realized much sooner. Something that I am re testing to verify on the day in a few weeks. Now will every application show gains, probably not, there are hundreds of cars and multiple variants of each. So its impossible to know. But its getting to be real fun to watch people put it to the test. This is why I think Sprint Booster is going to start getting more attention and be way bigger than it is now.

how do I know if my SB is still working properly? like as long as my gas pedal is working that means it's still working?!? idk how to tell if it is..

 

if its an old unit. generally failure would be a dead pedal. THe best way to tell if its working or not is to remove it and drive the car. Its night and day difference.

 

i do like the new ones which you can switch modes on it ,thats what really sparked my interest in it

 

At Maple we usually sell them for 349, but we`ve been discounting them to 300. Its a decent price.
