Hey all. I am now a proud owner of a 09 Lancer GTS in Apex Silver.
I come from toprotege and enjoy modding, unfortunalty I have a Mod-**** wife so I cant do much.

Hopefully I will be able to come out to some meets and have some good times with you club.

Just curious if anyone has any tips or suggestions for some first thing I SHOULD be doing to my lancer to help it or preserve it in anyway. Also anyone with deals on the side mount license plate kit?


Do any of you know of someone or somebody I can go to to get custom decals?

Welcome to the club man. Im in Bradford maybe we could meet up some time.
I would say mud flaps 4 sure. The lancer's paint chips pretty easy especially on the back of the side skirts. mud flaps will help this ALOT. I highly recommend Rally armor because they look sweet with the nice clean logo and do the job.
#2 if you drive your car in the winter get a good set of floor mats and rustproof it I'd say.

 

Evo_soul would be the person you may want to talk to, he will set you up with the side license plate mount.

1) Would be to protect the paint. If i was buying new i would look into 3M protection.

Got my side plate mount for like $50 installed at the dealership (Erin Mills Mitsu), but they mounted it a little lower than I would've liked so it covers part of my fog light.

Every Lancer owner tells me first thing to do, drop the car! It sits super high on stock suspension.

when I did springs I used the eibach pro kit and loved it!!

Definitely drop the car because the stock springs make the car way too high.
