Here's something funny...

So I went to Station 28 at Pacific Mall to look at shift knobs. In my opinion the ones they sell look real... but it can be hard to tell since they make good quality knockoffs these days.

Anyways... I saw one I was interested in... and asked him how much? He says... $130! I was like wtf?... because JRP which is the "Official Momo Distributor For Canada" charges $90 for the same knob. So obviously Pacific Mall should cost less than JRP... not $40 more than JRP. He then claims that his store at Pacific Mall is also an official distributor for Momo products in Canada... and that the reason for the price difference is because of HST. He goes JRP didn't adjust their prices for HST... and that's why there's a price difference.

What does HST have to do with anything?!?!? And even so... $90+HST is $101.70... not the $130 that Station 28 is selling it for!

Either way... even if it's not fake... I still wouldn't want to buy from a place that's going to lie to my face.

^ever think that the price difference is that pmall imports less and doesn't get as big a discount?

Crester, I'll go in and haggle them for you! 10% haggling fee, no guarantees though LOL.

Another asian will only help another asian so far =P.

Cmon Crester you don't need a new shift knob. Get some new brake pads or a rear sway bar instead ;P

Any shift knobs recommendations for the lancer owners? I have automatic and i want something that would not be too cold in the winter and not too hot in the summer.
