im waiting for the first quote from preferred insurance company place..happens to be only 1 in milton which is just lovely..it looks nice inside and fits atleast 20 cars..but that can be good or bad.

the car seems to still drive fine altho i hear noises as i drove it a few kms to repair shop and 20 km home the night it happened. but the door being kinda open doesnt help that at all.

One thing that i did notice when i got it to the shop was the door touching my dash and my new gauge pod on top steering wheel is defitely not aligned like it was , its been tweaked a bit. no plastics on the dash seem to be broken but who knows inside underneath, or if they will even look there.

i called dealership for my own personal quote on parts that i could see i defitely needed, and my quote came upto 5500 in parts, then you need labor for the fix and install and then painting it all and then approving my eye, because if its orange peel looking it wont be accepted then will be asked for a repaint.

I would never take it to a insurance approved bodyshop. They will do a ****ty job to save the insurance company money. I know this because my gf mother works for co operators insurance and she tells me the horror story's.

Ouch sorry to hear, hope all works well.

It looks like a truck of some sort with a high bumper.

I know a amazing bodyshop that can fix you right up and you wouldn't tell the difference. They use German paint and usually work with bmws and porches
Don't be a puss...your car is meant to be driven. Plus it's not a ferrari.

No kidding on the truck part, looks like they went straight into the side of your car!
Some people are just plain retarded. It's one thing if it's like a scratch or small dent, but when there's that much damage to just take off?!? I'll be keeping an eye out for steel bumpers w/ black paint on it!!

i worked for Ford gallinger as assistant body shop manager, my job was to take in cars, and go appraise them to the best of my knowledge before the actual guy had come, basically to speed up the process n such. I know how cars come in and leave, none are done right no matter what anyone says. i agree not taking to these people, but I wont have any leg to stand on if the repairs are done pathetically and not deemed a reputable shop by insurance company.

hopefully ill get a call back today but already not looking good being 130pm and no calls when the business opens at like 7am.

that totally blows....but judging from the pics, I don't think you'll need a body alignment, cause if it does...it's all down hill from there.

widoww... my condolences on what happened to your car. But yeah... fix it up and get it going again... since apparently we now own a "classic".

I still don't understand what in the hell could cause that much damage?!?!?
