its all apart the shop had to call in my insurance company guy to see if it needs more or what not as it went over their limit, currently the car sits at 14,500$

not as bad as i thought previously but still hurts to see

bottom sill is still mint cond, pillars are nicked but not tweaked really.

Mitsu sells the car as a complete shell new, when you buy parts i need they come as indivdual pieces, meaning they have to break all factory seems and welds, and then reweld. So the wuote stated at 14k is with attempting to fix and pull these pillars out. Hopefully the claims adjuster that comes from my insurance company adds more to it for me and gets the ball rolling here.

now driving a nissan altima laff, what a joke of a car, cvt as well, even more gutless, only ups are the stereo pumps pretty good and its a nice and quiet. but poor on highways, darts everywhere, winds blow it all over the place sad ill have this for 3-4 wks.

doh photbucket doin maintenance pics may not be up ill post tomorrow 2am now :P

No photos, but recently I just noticed somebody must have backed into my front bumper cause there's scuff marks on it, and also it popped out my bumper on drivers side. Luckily I was able to press down on one of the locks that was sticking out and pop it back in. But now need to polish the scuffs.

Worst part is I didn't see it when it happened. Definitely in a very bad mood.

Same thing has happened to mine! They even destroyed my front air dam/skirt piece. How did you pop the bumper back under? I also have a clip sticking out but I'm worried I'll break it if I push it down too hard lol.

There seemed to be some spaced holes for locking and in between one of the holes the piece was bent inwards like a v facing up. After using a screwdriver to press down on it to make the V a flat line, I was able to push in the bumper and it just clicked in place.

Does that make sense?

Wow....

I once I backed in to someone over at my boat launch. I was driving the F-350 with trailer, I had just put the boat in the water and couldn't see the trailer from the truck.. and accidently backed the trailer into car .. Light damage but still made a whole in the rear bumper of a Mazda Protoge.. I got out standed there for a 15min looking for the owner.. when he never showed up .. I LEFT A NOTE..

Long story short he called me asked to pay for damages.. I said Ok.. but never heard from him again, never paid for his damages.. Im thinking because its a no fault in parking his issurance just paid it ..

but just to say because I did a good thing I was strangely compesated for it, that's the way I see it..

this was like 5 years ago.

hopefully ill get a call back today but already not looking good being 130pm and no calls when the business opens at like 7am.
yep, your car will never be the same, even if they can do the perfect job! you car will be worth way less than market value! hope you can write it off! what does it take to write off a car?
