~ HSD Coilover Group Buy - March 31st end date

This group buy will be simple.

HSD HR SERIES COILOVERS

HSD Coilovers are simply the best mid range coilovers out there. I have interviewed countless Mitsubishi owners and reached out to a handle full more overseas in Australia and England to get further feedback as to how the ride, how they handle and their durability. Virtually every review of the kit is positive. HD System (maker of HSD) has done their homework and has truly made a kit that outlasts and outperforms the competition for mid range coilovers. This is why I think this kit is worthy to be on our cars. The first thing that comes to mind for these coilovers above all else in my opinion is Durability .

One final thing to note. We will be doing installs separately to not complicate things. but if you guys are looking for an install of the colovers. We have a garage and installer Jeff Pippy - (2010 CSCS Super Street AWD champion) doing the install himself, one car after another. The install will cost $250 and not include alignment.

HSD Coilovers for the following applications only

Lancer / Lancer SportBack (Will arrive second week of March, 10 available only, first come first serve)
Ralliart / Ralliart SportBack (Will arrive second week of March, 10 available only, first come first serve )
EVO 7-9 (5 IN STOCK)
EVO X (10 IN STOCK)

The price for each kit is $1300 Total

The seller behind this group buy is Scorpion Motor Sport / Rick Chong USA, A sponsor of the Toronto Lancer Car Club.

Payment: Send payment to rickchongusa@gmail.com or alternatively send an email request for a digital invoice (payment request) Once payment is received, please allow 24 for a response. Once funds have cleared, you can make arrangements to have your kit picked up. Who is Rick Chong? Rick Chong is a representative of Scorpion Motor Sport in Malaysia and Singapore and the man behind a lot of the body styling designs for the lancer and evo x. The Vlip, centre diffuser, 3 pcs spoiler are all things of his design. www.rickchong.com

Price is based on 3 people. More people, price goes down. Cost money to rent the garage and have Pippy and his Mechanic.
If its over priced its over priced, people are not forced to install it with Pippy. Its just one option. 250 is the ceiling price I can guarantee and ensure its done properly

I'm pretty sure most shops charge 150-200 for this job. Considering its not really much more than a spring install. Example, iGarage did my spring install for my Ralliart charged me 150. For my Evo X I installed my coilovers myself was way too easy to be honest. 5 bolts per side up front and 3 in the rear.

I know the guys at Igarage via my friend Victor. They are great I am good with what ever people want to do. The option is out there for 250 or better depending on numbers. I myself am paying the same price with along with everyone else for the install. This is more for those who want to get together and turn it into a car meet. We will likely be there from sun up till sun down.

ill be getting install by jeff , only guy besides my buddy Dave that I will allow touch my car and or install new parts to it.

The shop you went to cost 200 nice, but how much care was taken when installing? when my brakes were installed by Dave he took more time then a shop would yes, charged less, but did so many little things that made me warm inside knowing he was taking care of my car like his own, not just for some quick cash. That to me makes the difference in where I go and who touches me car.

Jeff i feel is the same way, hes done the install, on an EVO, thats what counts to me. Plus pay now or pay later , that and the meet aspect, talking with a semi-pro driver will be a learning day

^congrats on your decision, I'm just trying to inform people of more cost effective options. It is just a coilover install after all, not much "care" involved.. you take off wheels, you take off strut install new one. Yipee, as long as they don't scratch your wheels you're good to go lol.

For anyone brave enough (lol) to do it themselves here's the thread I followed, has exact torque specs and all: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...coilovers.html

Sigh...

The installs wont be done at a residential garage. It will be either done at a GTA location garage or it will be done at JRP as an official meet.

1 year warranty. No shipping required. JRP will service all warranty for Canada.
