Looking to do a 1/4 mile

Never done a 1/4 mile and want to do one for the fun of it/experience. Where is the place to be around Toronto? What are the licensing & safety requirements? Please help me out if you have any experience... Cayuga never responded to my email; I guess they have no love for noobs (and I partly wouldn't blame them)

Goto Cayuga... best place to do it. I think they have times on Friday and Saturday nights where you pay a really low fee and you can go as much as you want for the night. Widoww goes there...

Cayuga, Friday 20$, sat n sun 30$. No helmet required for you since you wont be hitting i'n the 12s.

Don't go thru the water box, not needed drive around. I'd go only on a 25 or cooler no humidity night if you want to really see what the car can do. And strip spare tire etc. Stuff smashing around isn't fun

Did you end up going?
1/4 mile is fun,, just hope you know how to use launch control?
also when your @ the light leave when you see the last yellow light on the "Tree" and ride the clutch a little, better 60' time!

when your about to line up, dont drive through the water, thats ment for guys who cant get traction and need to warm up their tires lol, so just drive around it,, you will see alot of people doing this!

Other then that you should be fine! If you go this wed night, Ill be on the road course and could help you out on the track?
PM me if you want!!

Yes I went for friday's test and tune. And as promised here is my best slip... only got 4 runs that night then I got 'slow down' and decided that was enough. This run was against an calibre srt4. I know my 60' could be a bit better, but I am pretty satisfied for my first time. As for the track, go on 3, maybe in a year or two when I get a proper coilover setup... thanks for the advice guys
