Tein S-tech on the track, anybody?

Has anyone with Tein S-tech springs and stock suspension taken their car out to the tracks? I'd like some comments/opinions/2cents from those who have S-tech and track their cars in a fairly frequent basis. I am not talking about 1/4mile, I am talking about road racing. What do you think of the performance of the springs at the track compared to stock springs? Do you think the S-tech is only for show not for performance? Good or bad experiences? For those who has good experience on the track with S-tech, what is your alignment setup?

Thanks.

Yeah, I'm interested to know too, OBVIOUSLY coilovers are better for track but I would also like to know if ride ability is improved a bit and is it a little better on the track with these springs or a little worse than stock?

Sure that is one of my concerns... being not having the flexibility of height adjustment for different conditions (bigger wheels, wider tires, for instance)..

Ive been to the track once with my tein s techs. They handle pretty well than stock spring. Less body roll and less sag when you hit corners. I got a rear strut bar and I think it helps the spring for better handling. All in all, I love my s techs.

Awsome, thanks solarxclipse, I was dying to hear that, I think I'll put s-tech's on until i can afford coilover setup. As long as it's an improvment form stock which it sounds like they are. Thanks again.

I am broke now getting other performance parts for the evo. I guess i may want to put the s tech on for now, and see how it does on the track before i could afford coilover.
