Does anyone else get a creak/groan from their shocks going over a deep dip or speed bump too quickly? I usually get this in the colder weather, wonder if its normal or worth bringing to the dealership for warranty.

I'm planning on installing some lowering springs so I wanted to find out if this is normal prior to doing that otherwise I doubt Mitsu will even look at it, lol.

I have had this since almost day one. And also same sounds while turning wheels at stand still.

 

Had the same problem it was Sway bar end links. Cheap to fix. The OEM ones are crap.

Get a suspension inspection and you will need sway bar lube, end links and or tie rods.

 

I had the same issues with my GTS, but once I installed the HSD coilovers I have never experienced the creaking.

 

clint how much did that end up costing out of curiosity?

 

front sway bar endlinks from the dealer are $140+

I needed to replace one of mine and that's what they quoted me. I laughed and found cheaper links.

 

70 or 90 bucks for both sides. Cant remember. Got em from sean at peak performance

 

Maybe I'll swing buy Peak one of these days and ask him to inspect the suspension and see if I need to do it or not.
