We will be putting together targeted pricing for the 225 235 and 245 tire sizes. So far the participating shops will be JRP & Peak Performance, more locations may be added in the next few days.

March 19th UPDATE: And the Deal Gets Better

 

I have been getting a lot of messages on the same thing. Which tire is for me? and why is there no 215 45 18 tire size.

1. Which tire is for me? (Lancer or Ralliart guy)
For anyone with stock rims (18X7) or rims that are up to 18X8 in size. I recommend going with 225 40 18. The size is compatible with has has very few negative consequences. The are multiple reports that some have had success with 235 40 18 within having the need to roll fenders, but I dont recommend this option unless you have researched extensively what you want and what you are doing.

2. Why not use the 215 45 18 tire size?
The main reason is because the 215 45 18 size is consider rare in the industry. The price is higher than its 225 45 or 225 40 equivalent. Many tire manufacturers do not support the 215 45 18 size. Also if you go to a larger rim width like 18X8 the tire takes on a stretched look.

Wow nice! DW is a wow tire. Had that on my last car. Wow tire for sure :-)

 

I got the Conti DW put on my car last Saturday at Peak Performance. After driving on them for a few days now, I definitely like 'em. They're certainly a helluva lot better than those crap OE Dunlops.
