Spring 2011 Spring / Summer Tire Buy

The winter totals arent in yet, but it looks like we out sold previous years. But surprisingly it was quiet for the first few months of winter and then Bam, a huge activity in January when the weather got ugly.

For this year, we will be again featuring the Conti DWS & DW tires. But things may get very interesting now that Sailun is offering an official trade up program at a crazy discount for their All Season and limited supply summer tires. I will be posting a full list of tires shortly for whats available, but I will add that we now have the ability to source Sumitomo tires as well as Toyo

APRIL 7 UPDATE:

Lancer / Ralliart

KEEP IN MIND THESE PRICES ARE TENTATIVE AND NOT FINALIZED, SO THEY ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

ATREZZO Z4+AS TIRE FEATURES:

* Ultra high performance all season radial delivers superior cornering and handling

* Variable pitch tread design provides a smooth, quiet ride

* Advanced tread compound provides exceptional grip, control and tread wear for a wide range of weather conditions

* Full depth sipe design delivers longer usable tread life

* Independent tread blocks with open shoulder grooves maximizes water dispersion for exceptional all weather traction

255 / 35 / 18 All Season & Summer= $ 124.18 (EVO X OE +)
245 / 40 / 18 All Season = $ 116.69 (EVO X OE)
225 / 40 / 18 All Season = $ 97.34 (Ralliart Lancer OE +)

* I have to confirm that the EVO X all season and summer tires have landed.

Let me know about the pricing on the Conti's. Also, where can we do the Sailun trade in? Do we have to get matching tire size? Let me know the details as my Dunlops are running bald and i don't feel like going through the effort to switch them on just yet if I'm about to purchase a new set.

The sailun trade up program will be administered at jrp and select dealerships. The deal will be very generous and you can finally drive with confidence.

I will post all other group buy details in the next few days. Also we going to mosport on may 10 for testing

I just read on the G35 forum that Sailun Tires is holding a car show in the summer at Markham Fairgrounds. There hasnt been anything there in a while.

Timing on Group Buy

Despite the weather yesteday, I want to get an idea on timing of this group buy. I can't put my summers back on my car and don't want to keep winters on much longer.

Evosoul - is there an announcement expected shortly or should I just be heading to Buffalo?

Does anyone have any experience w/ Sailun tires? wondering how they perform/last. Also they only make all-season and not only summer? that might be useful in a country where weather is ridiculously unpredictable like...ohh wait Canada..
