Sadly.....not yet. I am getting the itch to get something else if I cant get this tuned in soon. No one specializes in tuning the EVO really here in FL. It seems like anything else but the EVO.

Are you serious? So your selling the car because you cannot get it tuned? How about CFT, aren't there countless AEM tuners down there?

I am seriously thinking about it. I am always having to wait or drive to get tuned. I only trust Mark,, thats it. I have heard horror stories of these "other" places and I dont want to risk blowing the new motor for someone that wants to take the money and run.

What other mods are you running? Have you checked with TT and see if they have a similar map for one of the other 2.4L 50 trim cars they have tuned that they would let you use for a base????

Well to be honest if you bought all these parts and only trust Mark I dunno what you were thinking haha!!! Will mark not come down to tune it for you? There is/was a turbotrix dyno day down there before, that I know for sure, plus there are lots of GOOD tuners out there, ask mark whom he would reccomend in your area, I find it impossible to believe that there is nobody down there with the experience/expertise needed to tune your ride.

Too many mods to list but even if they had something similar, I would not be comfortable driving it around for too long. I had a tune before on the 2.0 at 30psi and all we did was keep the same map but just redid the fuel at idle so it wasnt stalling out becasue it was too lean. I have been driving around this way for a couple months at little to no boost. Once in a while it spikes up but thats because I am getting into traffic.

There are other tuners willing to tune but I hear stories of flat timing tables etc etc just becasue it is a tuning style. I dont want a style, I want an A-Z full detail tune.

How about TopSpeed, Dyno4mance, anywhere close that you would trust?

It never seemed like a problem to get tuned before. Unfortuately, I have had so many things go south after a tune like. 1. tuning on a dying fuel pump. 2. Tuning on a dying methanol pump. etc etc. Its been one tune after another due to a failing part. The last tune I had was on an MBC which was great, then I was convinced to go with the GM solenoid which is a great idea. However, 2 days before the tune the car GO BOOM because the solenoid wasnt correcting the boost very well as we did some over the phone tuning with the VSS table.

Anyway, thats when the 2.4 was built and now I am just trying to patiently wait to get this done. My only option is to get someone to tune it and have Mark look it over to make sure its safe.

Well, you could fix one of the kid's into a living breathing asset, and get it tuned . Sorry if all this is annoying, I just have a setup similar to yours and know whta it feels like having this sort of untamed monster under the hood and no tune, its no fun, however I also feel like you are limiting yourself by only trusting one tuner, granted there are lots of hacks/tooners out there, there are also many respectable, trusthworthy ones too!
