Talking Evo X Headwork. Got Ports?

Jeff spent some time working his magic on the Evo X head. Check it out.

And how much would a ported Turbo Trix head run you?

did you guys flow bench to see if you made any gains

No we did not. This is for the Evo X we are currently building. We plan on pulling the head on the shop X and porting it to see the gains.

dont know if it is true or not but arent you supose to flow bench when you port a head to see if you are hurting the flow or making it better dont meen to knock your work just a question

Yes, you can use a flow bench to see if you are hurting or helping flow. Dyno testing helps too. We don't just hog out the head since bigger doesn't always mean better with cylinder head porting. Someone experienced in head porting knows where you need to take out material or re-shape the port to help flow. Jeff has been porting cylinder heads for over 10yrs and really knows his stuff when it comes to porting.

Looks great! Another vendor made great gains with portwork on the X head. I'm sure you'll be very pleased with the end results!
