maybe im the one that gets the unluckiness. instead of having a quick breeze install, it took me a little over an hour. well to start with, i dont have acess to a lift so i used a hydraulic jack. i don't know how u guys were able to get a socket in there without removing the whole assembly but if that was how u were supposed to do it then its a big oops for me. i took the whole assembly out, took the roller stopper out and slid it back in. now here is where it took an hour. the bolts at the back of that long piece (i have no idea what's it called or any of the correct terminology) did not line up. there are a total of 5 bolts (including the roller itself) that are screwed on the car. the front one (nearest the radiator) were fine. the back two does not line up if i were to insert the bolt through the roller first. if i were to try the other way around (back two bolts first then roller bolt) the roller bolt doesnt line up. i freaking stripped about 3 threads of the last bolt (the very last bolt at the end of that long piece) when i tried to bolt it in with the roller bolt in place. i just gave up and of course the car vibrates like a mfker and its just the worst sound ever....ugh man. i dont know what to do. i have all the bolts in place except for the last one. any ideas or suggestions? ive tried doing every combination of bolt placement and non seem to work. just my luck
I am so ridiculously happy with the Blox Front motor mount!
Over 61,000 miles, this may be the best money I ever spent on the car. From the instant that I drove the car back off the ramps, I could feel the difference.
Granted, 61k with over 300 WHP will put some wear on the stock mount which was getting really sloppy...so some of the difference probably comes in replacing a worn item but I am really impressed.
My shifting, at all speeds, has been improved and I have no more bucking and bobbing on the engine at every throttle lift. Very impressive product!!
And install....OMG, install.... This thing's easier than swapping your summer wheels for your winter wheels!
Everything about purchasing the BLOX mount has been a pleasure...price, performance, and putting it in (the three "Ps").
A+

I also removed my entire crossmember to swap it out...my car's older and got some miles on it, so I did have some rusty bolts.
If you have access to ramps, use them for the install, that way, if you need to use the jack on the motor to make the mount bolt line up, you'll have it available.
Try to install each of the bolts just a few threads in, not all the way tight until you get each bolt in it's proper place.
You may also want to remove the front stabilizer bar (by the downpipe, it runs from left-to right and is secured by QTY 2 - 17mm or 14mm bolts (i forget)) To make lining it up easier.
Also, maybe your jack point is putting some strange torque on the frame in that location? ramps will eliminate this problem. I was able to assemble it, on ramps, without using the jack on the motor at all.
Reassemble your bolts with anti-seize, too...that should help thread-galling and lubricate the bolts on teh reinstall. Good luck!

ok so i had to buy another bolt because i was too careless and stripped the original one. i found one at a local hardware store and it's slightly smaller in diameter but was still able to screw on and hold the bracket. now my honest opinions are strictly based on just that, my opinion. im not trying to say anything bad for other customers but just giving everybody who hasn't bought one yet a heads up. first id like to say that the shifting has been improved, it's a lot smoother going from 2nd to third. what i really noticed was the highway driving. i wasn't able to take it on the highway until today and it definitely feels like the engine is being held up by an invisible hand. there is no roll watsoever when u stepp off the throttle or step on. feels like u have no engine haha. car is also louder, which i dont mind in the least. now the part where some people might not like is that the car feels like it's about to stall since it idles lower. im not sure if that's normal but its been doing that since ive installed. u don't stall out though, just a different sound i guess. now when u turn the A/C on, its a different story hehe. i turned it on as i was about to move and i felt like the car almost stalled. also, when the a/c is on while the car is stopped, there is def a lot of vibration. doesn't bother me because i rarely use the a/c but just a heads up. im pretty sure it's normal so nothing to worry. other than that, great job speedelement.
another story of "holy crap, this is awesome!"
i seriously don't know how I ever drove without it. Sounds great, precision shifting, very responsive on/off throttle, and i even noticed it made the sweet spot in the cluth pedal easier to feel.
took the sloppiness out of the drivetrain.
