Bolt it in loosely to the mounting position, then take a nice long phillips screwdriver and stick it into one of the front two bolt holes on the crossmember. Have a buddy push back HARD until the rear bolt hole lines up PERFECTLY. Thread this one in 90% of the way and then install the other bolts.

I wasted 2.5-3 hours driving around looking for a M12x1.25 tap (good luck finding one of those, very uncommon!) to re-thread the rear bolt-hole.

Initial review: AWESOME, car even sounds meaner! I'm going to drive it for a week, then post a full review.
I had the same problem with 43k on the car... :/ i used the screwdriver to lever the mount hole into place after the crossmember was loosely bolted in.

Both my car and Scheides car sounds noticeably different, especially during start-up and at WOT.

lol yea that's when I notice is too....Can anyone explain this in detail maybe?

Is it due to the stiffer mount/vibrations?

Honestly the more I think about it the more angry I am that Ive gotten no emails or communication of any kind from Speed Element.

I think I'm in store for a free engine mount

Because the mount/bushing is much stiffer than sotck, the vibrations are now be transfered to the chassis instead of vibrating on the engine and transmission. When all the moving parts are placed in an improved steady position, the engine noise will also be different.
