My install SUCKED, I stripped my rear crossmember bolt because the engine/subframe was sagging a bit (05 w/ 50k miles on it) so the bolt holes were not lining up. To anyone else with this problem: bolt down the mount to the crossmember tight. Bolt it in loosely to the mounting position, then take a nice long phillips screwdriver and stick it into one of the front two bolt holes on the crossmember. Have a buddy push back HARD until the rear bolt hole lines up PERFECTLY. Thread this one in 90% of the way and then install the other bolts.

I wasted 2.5-3 hours driving around looking for a M12x1.25 tap (good luck finding one of those, very uncommon!) to re-thread the rear bolt-hole.

Initial review: AWESOME, car even sounds meaner! I'm going to drive it for a week, then post a full review.

My car is a IX with 15k miles and everything lined up perfectly. I know the S2000 guys have trouble mounting aftermarket bracing (mainly the X-braces) as the car gets older/miles higher; this just goes to show that chassis flexing does occur.

I just got mine installed tonight and my first impressions is that this is one of the best/most noticeable improvements I've done to date.

The cost is AWESOME and fit/finish/packaging was great.

Calvin at SpeedElement is super fast on the shipping, and I received a tracking number just hours after I sent him payment, and received the mount 2 short days later.

I've only driven about 10 miles with the mount installed, but the car feels more "tight" and shifting has improved greatly. I don't know if it's just me, but for some reason when I went WOT, my car sounded unmistakingly different (Can anyone confirm this?)

Overall this is a 10/10 and the bang for the buck factor can't be beat!
