I think our compression ratio is 10:1 someone correct me if I am wrong, just a guess but I think it would be wise to run on 91, but you could get away with 89 if you dont run it hard.

lol rock has spend hours delivering this baby so he will tell you what is required

I think I remeber him saying it runs fine on 89

Turbo is got to run on 91 octane minimum. 93 would be even better.

for the love of god get this kit CARB approved so i can buy it. i would buy it today if it was CARB approved

It would cost alot of money and time to get the kit CARB approved.

i live in northern cali where there is no smog, however its still illigel to take smog crap off like the cat and smop pumps and bull$#!t. anyways my point is that even though i dont have to worry about it , i still would like to have a carb #.

You can basically check EVOM once a month and not miss a beat.

91 octane is required on virtually every turbo car even the EVO X. You have to expect to use 91+ on cars not intended to be turbo but turboed. It is the least you can do and is required.

Rock, Have you guys considered doing an E85 tune? There are some Evo guys in the Las Vegas area running on it making better power. I know that you burn more b/c of the ethanol content, but with the higher octane rating and slightly lower price, It might also be a viable tune for thoes that have it available!

Thought of it. We even have done EVOs on E....... Demand may not warrant all the work though.
