+1, opening up the gap on an n/a car can produce more power but requires a better source for spark, not 100% sure on how this applies to the turbo world yet, but is that how you made more power on this, by running a larger plug gap? Or is it the same? If it is, can you gain more by doing so?

with a stronger spark it allows you to run a bigger gap in the plugs. which is where most of the power will come from. that and added with higher stronger spark.

Plug gaps were .028 boost was 21psi...stock evo 8 turbo lightly modded.
We made NO changes and the gain was a solid 8-10whp every time...stock coils vs non-cdi.
We could have possibly picked up a couple more hp by increasing the gap a little but wanted the test to be easily duplicated by customers
