People knocking this piston on its popularity should not contribute to this thread. I actually went to JAM to look these pistons over and compare them to other pistons on the market, its a quality piston and from a technical standpoint they WILL do the job.
These pistons are like Pankl rods, not many people have heard of Pankl but they manufacture rods for exotics, touring cars, F1 cars, etc. However you have heard of Carillo and because other people have heard of Carillo you will back them; funny thing is Pankl manufactures Carillo's rods.

VENOLIA FTW. can we get the wrist pin keeper in aluminum instead of teflon? pretty sure they do cause ive been running them on VWs for years.. if they do im in!!
