What does the Stage One consist of? Stock no mods?

I'm pretty new, but that doesn't look like too technical of a dynograph.

However, I have heard great reviews on the Cobb AP.

 

^It's not supposed to represent an authentic dynograph. All of the Cobb Tuning graphs appear this way. Rest assured the gains will be just as advertised if not more.

 

Correct. Stage1 is 100% stock car, or a car with a Cat back exhaust.

 

As of right now I am only seeing one map(Stage 1). However if that is the case, a Map for a car with a Full Exhaust should be out very soon. Cobb AccessPorts will come with a 91, 93, and Cali 91 oct maps, also a valet mode(so the car will not go over 3000RPM), and anti-Theft(so that the car can not start), Also all the above maps will be in a Stg1(stock car), and Stage 2(car with a full Exhaust) are either already created, or will out very shortly and available for free download on Cobb's web site.

 

Reason for the map to look like that, is people get caught up in the HP gains. You can have one dyno who will show only a 20hp increase, where another dyno can show a 70hp increase. With no consistancy in Dyno's from one shop to another, it becomes a game of who has the least accurate dyno that can show the highest HP gains. This is how many companies say that a Intake produces a 20WHP increase, or a cat back have a 30 HP increase. But we all know, that a filter is not going to yeild those kinds of numbers.
