BR ported intake/65mm throttle body pictures
Since when does it get to -10F in Puerto Rico??? Your fingers go numb working in a cold garage in winter here in the north, so to simulate the effect in your tropical paradise, try doing your head and piston work using only your elbows and see what your time is.
I forgot about you telling me you were running that gasket/spacer Jeff. It has held up well on your car. Too many horror stories for me. I hope yours doesn't blow out.
Thanks for the link and information Al. That is a hell of a power gain. I thought it was around 30 whp, you were pretty excited the night you called me and told me!

I have the Hondata one on my car not sure who else even makes them. When I redo the engine and get the mani and TB ported I may go back to the stocker. Hate to have one blow out man. Taking off the mani is such a PITA

The whistle noise that Mike is telling you is normal, is in fact normal and will go away over time as you drive the car. My belief is the whistle comes from the very tight tolerances we use between the throttle plate and the throttle body. The whistle happens as the sealed throttle plate first breaks its seal from the throttle body bore. That is my belief on why the whistle happens anyway.
