a quick question.

My battery is located in the trunk ( it is a full size yellow top battery) with 4 guage wire running to the front of the vehicle ( power wire) . Will this be ok, with your ignition system, or will you have to design it differently ? I am speaking of your PRO system.

^No problem at all. Just connect to junction where the + wire from the battery enters the engine compartment.

Thanks for the question

Sparktech,

thank you for the response. the only reason I asked that, was because of potential voltage drop from the battery, due to the long 4 guage wire ( resistance) to the power wire of the CDI box.

I apologise for not getting back to you after your response.

^No problem...

I realize lots of people would have moved their batteries to the trunk. Ultimately it would be better with a shorter run to the battery. However as long as the wire is of adequate size I don't see a problem with it. If you have the ability to log battery voltage you can see if there are any potential issues.
