So what is the advantage of going with a SS clutch line over the stock lines? Why should someone purchase this?

I'm not in the know! Thanks!

Stock lines are rubber and have a bit of "relief" when the clutch pedal is pressed in due to pressure. The stainless lines do not allow that giving you a more precise feel in your pedal.

So do people feel an absolute difference when they upgrade their lines? I guess I'll have to search a little.

I spoke to a few places and they didn't think the SS line upgrade was really worth it.

Thanks for the response!

When i did mine, i did shifter bushing, underhood and base, the clutch line and short shifter all at once... so my experience on all 3 Evos i've owned is the same.... dramatic. But i've always done the swap together.

I will say this, STMs line is the only full line on the market that I am aware of... it is pretty much the only thing we install in our customer cars any more and feedback from them seems be a noticeable difference however slight it may be.

Thanks for the reply! Good info.

Do you think a Clutch Fork Stopper is important to have as well? I know the folks at STM also make one, too.

We carry those for a reason as well

They are one of the best looking products on the market for that particular item and if you are shifting hard, its nice to have that added level of protection.

I'm sure Emery and the crew will be happy to help you out with getting you the things you need. I'd recommend both items as we use them all on our 3 shop cars as well as I have the STM AN fittings. Great products. Mix the cable with the Buschur shifter bushings (not sure if STM has their own, or carries them.... and you can't go wrong.

I know this is old but I want to let everyone know again.

IF you purchase this master to slave line you will not need the upper or lower. We still have people trying to purchase all three online but the Master to slave replaces the other two.

Thanks
