I can't help but wonder if Dave (Tephra) had been on board with COBB back in 2006 would the AccessPORT for the EVO8/9 still be a viable commodity?

Its interesting that Cobb has now "contracted" two of our most valuable open source commodities as of late... jcsbanks for his outstanding work with stock ecu SD and the GTR, now Tephra for his groundbreaking tweaks for the evo community. I am proud that both of them are now getting compensated for the hard work they have put in!

I don't want to sound like a tard, but how does this affect users who buy their AP from a different vendor...say Perrin?? Will we be able to take advantage of this marriage?

 

I would imagine you would get all the benefits. It's still a Cobb AP, it's just Perrin who sold you Cobbs hardware so you get Cobbs software just the same.

 

Doesn't matter who you buy it from.
