When you click on the product, you will see the terms and conditions - Group Buy - Racing Parts, the time left on the Group Buy, and how much the item is.
Group Buy Terms & Conditions
Vivid Racing's new group buy system is a great way to get in on a HOT deal at a low, low price! By checking out online, you agree to these terms and conditions outlined below. Group Buy's are ONLY available online.
How does it work?
Place your order online and at checkout, you will be prompted to pay a 50% deposit via credit card. This deposit holds your spot for the group buy price.
Once the Group Buy date has ended and the minimum amount of buyers has been reached, your credit card will be billed the balance and your order will be processed.
If the Group Buy minimum buyer level is not reached, you will have the option to receive a full refund of your deposit, or buy the item at a discounted price. This price will be between the listed retail and Group Buy price.
Group Buy prices are ONLY honored if the minimum number of buyers is reached.

Hmm, cool start. However would be nice if you saw more Evo products on there...all I see is the exhaust (boost controller aside). Anyone that doesn't have an exhaust or boost controller raise your hand. Lets see some high demand rare stuff that benefits us both!

Feedback like this is a huge part of this being a success
Well as your name would imply, some RACING parts would be nice. Where would we start - EFR turbo's, xyz (good) vendor manifolds, Voltex kits, APR wings, popular wheels with a steep discount (because everyone and their mother sells wheels), popular tires, gopro camers, traqmate systems, blah blah etc etc. No more of this mickey mouse CatBack unless it's a revolutionary lightweight system, or no more boost gauges unless it integrates with your iphone ya know. NEW things for OLD cars.
But what would set it apart, is if you did group buys FOR other vendors. What we mean by this is group buys for those vendors that make very good parts. Such as:
Hello EvoM, we've arranged with Chad @ CBRD for 10 Evo 8/9 OR X radiators, regular price is 300 we're giving it to you 279 shipped. Please send blah to blah and we'll put you on the list.
Or
Hello EvoM, we've arranged with Andy @ AMSOIL to do ABC and XYZ, shipped.
and so on and so forth. We know what things cost, we want it cheap and we want it easily. Because anything less we'd go to vendor X ourselves.
But what would set it apart, is if you did group buys FOR other vendors. What we mean by this is group buys for those vendors that make very good parts. Such as:

Especially if you have a few individuals that are interested.
The grouping is very diverse, you have guys that daily their cars, auto x, time attack, drag racing, etc.
So the "generic parts" are based around something everyone can use.
Like i said ill be more than willing to work with people though.

Well that's kinda the point I was getting at. If I knew 5 people who wanted a set of Eneki wheels right now, i'd arrange the GB myself. But we don't know exactly who wants what. The only way it works is if it's an offer people can't refuse. The way i'd do it is start a thread where they would vote for 3 or 4 different parts. You'd have to list exactly what they would cost for 10 or 20 etc people in order for someone to take the time and post. There's little risk other then time and doing the research.
I don't mean to bust *****, I'm excited someone is thinking of going down this path and just wanted to give input.
